SPSP conducted a climate survey to learn more about attendee experiences at SPSP conferences and SPSP sponsored events (e.g., SISPP). The survey was opened on 5/8/2019 and closed 6/8/2018 resulting in 1090 participants. The overall goal of the survey was to provide SPSP with information needed to tailor policies, procedures, and funding priorities in order to promote diversity and inclusivity as well as prevent and respond to harassment and discrimination. The survey had two parts with the first focused on broad issues of diversity and climate and the second part focused on sexual harassment. Full details on the methods and results for the first part of the survey are now publicly available here.
These findings will be discussed at a Town Hall at the SPSP Convention on Friday, Feb. 8th, 2019 11-12:15PM (Oregon 201) with convention attendees and representatives from both the Diversity and Climate Committee and the Sexual Harassment Task Force.
