We’re now accepting applications for preconferences to be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 before the SPSP Annual Convention kicks off in Atlanta, GA. These day-long sessions of networking, learning, and discussion focus specifically on various subcategories of our field. These intensive preconferences are one of the highlights of the convention experience each year. Preconference content is chosen and organized by our members and this programming comes to life with the logistical support of the SPSP Central Office staff.

Linda J. Skitka elected to serve as president of the world’s largest society of social and personality psychology researchers WASHINGTON, DC—Linda J. Skitka, Professor of Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, has been elected the 2019 president of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP). Skitka will serve as SPSP’s president‐elect in 2018 and past president in 2020.
