  • Like good manners and Jennifer Aniston’s haircut, talking about replications will never go out of style. The debate is back again this week thanks to an essay published by Jason Mitchell in which he strongly argues against the utility of replications. While the reaction was mostly confined to snarky tweets, Chris Said(@Chris_Said) and Sanjay Srivastava (@hardsci) each penned thoughtful responses. Meanwhile, Tom Stafford (@tomstafford) wrote what may quality as a defense of Mitchell (relatively speaking) in which he says he also disagrees with Mitchell but believes Mitchell is not unreasonable.
