Student Committee Self-Nominations Now Open!

Nominate yourself to serve on the 2018 SPSP Student Committee. This is a great way to expand your professional network and develop important leadership skills. Hurry! Applications are due November 24. Two former committee members share their experiences.

 

Small Grant Competition Returns to Annual Convention

Inside the Grant Panel (formerly known as Q&pAy) will take place on Saturday, March 3 at our convention in Atlanta. Open to any current SPSP member or student, the winner will receive $5,000 for their research and two runners-up will each receive $2,500. Applications open December 1, 2017 and close January 12, 2018. To be eligible, you or your co-applicant must be able to attend the convention and the finals.
 

Applications Now Open for the Next EASP Summer School

A central activity of the European Association, the EASP Summer School provides a unique educational opportunity for students to learn about theory, methodology, and research design in social psychology. SPSP will select five students for the next session taking place this summer in Zurich, Switzerland.
 


2018 Convention Updates

SPlish SPlash! Student Social Night Announced - at the Georgia Aquarium!

The 2018 Student Social Night will be embedded in the offsite Welcome Reception SPlish SPlash, at the Georgia Aquarium on Thursday night, March 1, from 7:30 – 10:00 PM. Student tickets are half price and include aquarium admission, a drink ticket, hors d’oeuvres, and access to the students-only networking area. Accepting Applications for #SPSP2018 Student Science Writers

We’re seeking up to six psychology students to contribute as eDaily interns. Successful candidates will interview member scientists, write articles on sessions, and translate science for the daily convention e-newsletter during the 19th Annual Convention from March 1-3, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia.
