Teacher & Scholar Travel/Registration Award

The Society for Personality and Social Psychology will offer a limited number of Teacher/Scholar Travel & Registration awards to support the participation of non-student members who teach and work exclusively with undergraduate students. Travel/Registration Awards waive the fee associated with registering for the annual convention. 

Applicants cannot have previously won any of the SPSP travel awards (i.e., the International Travel Award, the Graduate Student Travel Award, the Diversity Graduate Travel Award, or the Teacher/Scholar award).

Applicants may apply for this award together with any other travel award for which they are qualified (see here for a full listing of available travel/registration awards). However, an applicant can receive only one of the awards.

Requirements

• Be a teacher/scholar who teaches and works exclusively with undergraduate students. Graduate student teachers or teaching assistants are not eligible.
• Must be a member of SPSP at the time of submission.
• Provide a 300-word essay on what would be the benefit of receiving this award.
