Advances in Cultural Psychology
Overview
Threats! Danger! Death! This year’s pre-conference takes threats head-on—it will highlight research from diverse speakers on different angles of threats—reproducibility, physical health, and symbolic threats. Does cultural psychology have a replication crisis? Why do some hazards kill people in some cultures and make people healthier in other cultures? And how is it that threats lead to honor violence in some cultures and inflated narcissism in others? Join us for the dangerous side of cultural psychology and a lightning round of data blitz talks.
