SPSP's Early Career Awards recognize scholars in the early stages of their professional careers.

In 2021, the SAGE Young Scholars Awards became the SAGE Emerging Scholar Awards and SAGE Early Career Trajectory Awards. Learn more about these changes here.

The SAGE Emerging Scholar (between 0-3 years post-PhD) and Early Career Trajectory (between 4-6 years post-PhD) Awards recognize the contributions of outstanding early career psychologists in personality and social psychology. These awards provide funds that can be flexibly applied to extend the recipient's work in new and exciting directions.

Caryl E. Rusbult Young Investigator Award honors Professor Rusbult's dedication to training top scholars. It is presented annually at the SPSP Close Relationships Preconference to an investigator who has made original and important contributions to relationship science.
