Featured job postings are highlighted on the front page of the Career Center, listed on the Career Center Job Search, and prioritized at the top of our biweekly Career Center Updates newsletter. Featured job postings are also included as text links in our monthly eDialogue member newsletter.

No, you do not need to be a member to post a job in our Career Center.

No, members do not receive discounts or free postings.

Featured Job postings are:

• Highlighted at the top Career Center page.
• Listed at the top of the biweekly Career Center Updates newsletter
• Included as text links in the monthly eDialogue member newsletter.

Standard Job postings are:

• Listed on the Career Center Job Search and included as text links in at least one edition of the biweekly Career Center Updates newsletter.

Start by following these steps to purchase and post your job listing:

1. Create an Account
   • If you haven’t logged in before, create an account at my.spsp.org to access the Career Center.
2. Purchase a Job Listing
   • Go to the Post a Job page.
   • Select a Standard or Featured Job Posting and the duration (30, 60, or 90 days).
   • Review your cart, proceed to checkout, and complete your order.
3. Locate Your Posting Link
   • After checkout, find your link to post the job on the Order Confirmation page or in the confirmation email (see an example). You can also find this link later in the My Job Listings section of this page.

Posting a job on our Career Center is easy! Just follow these steps:

1. Review Order Details
   1. Ensure the email address in the Email field is correct, as your order confirmation will be sent there. You may change it if needed.
2. Submit Your Order
   1. Click Submit. An Order Confirmation page will appear with a link to post your job. You’ll also receive this link via email.
3. Add Job Posting Information
   1. If you’re ready to post, click the "CLICK HERE to add Job Posting Info!" link on the confirmation page (see an example) or look for the link in your confirmation email. You can also log in to your account, navigate to this page, and look under My Job Listings for your Job ID link to begin setting up your post.
4. Fill Out Job Details
   1. Select a Deadline: Choose "Open Until Filled" or a specific date.
   2. Required Fields: Complete the Job Title and Position Category fields.
   3. Add a Logo (Featured Jobs only): If your job is featured, upload your logo in the Logo field.
   4. Description Field: Add your full job description and format it using the editor menu.
5. Include Additional Information
   1. Hyperlinks: Add text links to the job description using the Hyperlink Manager icon or use the Website field to add a general link to your site (optional).
   2. Contact Information: Enter contact details for inquiries or check the Hide this information option if you prefer not to display it.
6. Publish Your Job
   1. Review all details. When ready, click Submit Changes to publish. Job listings appear immediately on the Job Search page. If you purchased a Featured Job lisiting, our team will ensure they’re highlighted at the top of the Career Center page.

We recommend completing the job posting process right after purchasing the posting to maximize the 30-, 60- or 90-day posting period. If you need to purchase a posting now but are not ready to publish the posting and still wish to maximize the  30-, 60- or 90-day posting period, please contact [email protected] for assistance in adjusting the end date of your posting.

While your posting will appear on our Job Search page after you select the Submit Changes button on the Job Detail page of your posting, we do use a manual process for adding a Featured Job to the top of our Career Center page. Please be sure to upload a logo before selecting Submit Changes, or alternatively, you can email the logo to [email protected]. 

The recommended dimensions for the logo are 200px by 200px. Logos that have different dimensions will be resized to a square format. You can upload the logo as part of the job posting process or you can email the logo to [email protected]. 

No. Once you select the Submit Changes button on the Job Detail page of your posting, the posting is considered “approved” and will be published. Updates or changes to the published posting cannot be made through my.spsp.org.

Your contact information is automatically added at the bottom of the posting, but you can hide it by clicking the "Hide this information" box at the bottom of the Job Detail page before selecting the Submit Changes button. If you miss this step, please contact [email protected] so that we can remove or modify the contact information for you.

We do not extend job postings past their original 30-, 60- or 90-day posting period.

No, job postings cannot be moved to the top of the list. We recommend purchasing a new listing if you would like your posting to receive additional exposure.

Postings are reviewed after publication for formatting issues and broken links.
