In an effort to increase the diversity of personality and social psychology, SPSP’s Diversity and Climate Committee monitors diversity in the organization, funds efforts to support students and members from diverse backgrounds, and creates inclusive practices.

Member Demographics

SPSP recognizes the importance of having diverse representation within our organization and in the field of social and personality psychology more broadly. The attached documents show the self-reported diversity statistics for our members. Areas of diversity for which statistics are included are: gender, sexual orientation, disability status, ethnicity/race, country, and year in which one’s doctorate was received.
